Rodney Bay
Rodney Bay is a bay located in the Gros Islet quarter on the island of Saint Lucia. Gros Islet is one of the ten quarters in the island. It can be found on the northwestern coast of the island above the Castries quarter, where the capital of St. Lucia is, and the Dauphin quarter.
Snorkeling and Diving
Anse Chastanet coral reef harbors a treasure trove of sea life across varying depths. On a plateau of two to eight meters, divers can see colored sponges, soft corals, boulder coral, and brain corals. Frogfish inhabit a large nearby cavern, and divers may spot many varieties of fish in the coral gardens, including parrotfish, goatfish, wrasse, chromis, and barracudas. The edge of the plateau is a wall that drops 46 meters to a lace coral ecosystem inhabited by lobsters, crabs, and eels. Plate coral starts below 30 meters. Above the surface, Anse Chastanet is a sheltered beach with beautiful views of the Pitons.
The Pitons
Part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Pitons Management Area, the Pitons are St. Lucia's twin towering peaks and prime topographic features. These distinctive peaks soar out of the sea to great heights. The Gros Piton (large piton) to the south is 798 meters high, and the Petit Piton (small piton) is 750 meters high. Formed by volcanic activity about 200,000 to 300,000 years ago, both the Pitons are considered difficult climbs. If you're a diver, you can explore them as underwater cliffs. However, most visitors simply view them for their scenic beauty.

Pigeon Island
The picturesque, 44 acre island reserve, off the North West, was originally surrounded by water but was joined to the mainland by a man-made causeway in 1972. Recognizing the need to secure this site where the balance of late eighteenth century naval power was decided, the Government of Saint Lucia designated Pigeon Island as a National Park in 1979 and as a National Landmark in 1992.
Marigot Bay
Marigot Bay is located on the western coast of the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia, 3.75 miles southwest from Castries and a short distance from the Saint Lucian National Marine Reserve. It is surrounded on three sides by steep, forested hills.
Soufriere
Soufriere is a town on the West Coast of Saint Lucia, in the eastern Caribbean Sea. The town and the surrounding district has a population of 7,935. It was founded by the French and was the original capital of the island.
